Mr. LJK is a musician, producer and composer, with a passion for hip-hop/lo-fi chill music. After guesting on several tracks for ground breaking New Zealand hip-hop band “Three The Hard Way” some years back the seeds were sown. Operating under the creative alias of Larry Killip, he has embraced the freedom of artistic expression, allowing him to explore diverse sonic textures and boundaries of genre thus deviating from his usual fare of mainstream Rock/pop.
With a career that began in the depths of his home studio, Mr. LJK harnessed his skills to create new soundscapes by venturing into a completely different genre. His debut track, “Infinity Mist,” showcases his ability to blend intricate beats with soothing melodies, bringing together aspects of his professional work as a sound designer blended with cool beats, synths, guitars and sound effects. The melodies of Mr LJK are original, and do not rely on exisiting sound libraries. Released on all major streaming platforms, this track marks the beginning of a promising musical endeavor.
